30hr codes for Nursery Funding
For those of you who are eligible for the 30 hour funding- please remember to confirm your eligibility code when prompted to do so with an email from HMRC.
New Committee
We are allowed a maximum of 12 committee members and a minimum of 5. We have spaces available if anyone would like to join us-it would be great to see a few more as a few of our existing committee members are stepping down as their children move onto school. We have only 4 that will be continuing- so we do need more to meet the minimum requirements.
It’s a great way of getting more involved with the running of preschool and helping with fund raising events.
If you are interested- please let me know and I will have a quick chat with you! If you are interested but can’t come to the meeting- that’s fine- we can still vote you on!
If you will be attending the meeting- it would be good to know as we need a certain number of people to attend (otherwise I will be twisting some arms for attendance!)
Easy Fundraising
Quite some time ago we registered for this “easy” way of fundraising which you can help with- as you shop on line. We raised at the time a terrific amount of funds.
It would be great if we could get this active again and this is how you can help.
We all shop on line!
This is an online fundraising platform that turns everyday online shopping into free donations to groups and charities like ourselves. There’s no extra cost to yourselves.
Over 8,000 shops and sites will donate to your chosen cause a certain percentage of what you have spent.
There’s everything from grocery shopping, health & beauty electricals, holidays, insurance, clothes shopping, homewares, eating out or in- and lots more! From lots of well-known high street and on-line shops.
Click on the link below and sign up today and start earning us some pennies!
NB- at the start of the process it will ask you for your chosen cause-we are listed as Addingham Pre School Playgroup (as when we initially registered that was our title)

Once registered-when you’re wanting to purchase something-from Argos for an example -click on your easyfundraising app first rather than going to the site first- then search for Argos Alternatively put a “reminder” button on the app and it will alert you if a donation is available from a site you are about to shop from. In this case-no need to visit Easyfundraising first.
It really is so easy- honest! Go on -give it a try!
Some fundraising dates for your diary.
Thursday 22nd October- Halloween Party at the cricket club 4.30-6.00pm- more details to follow but get the date in your diary and tell your friends and family.
Auction of promises - a separate email will be sent out about this exciting event in November which you can do in the comfort of your own home!
Also….. looking ahead to Christmas and to give you notice- we finish on Thursday 17th Dec and will be closing at 2pm after the Christmas Party.
I think that’s all for now
Many thanks for reading!
