Hello everyone!
Hope you are enjoying half term!
We are open Monday 3rd November.
Bonfire and fireworks, Remembrance Day, Space (stars, rockets and
planets) and fun with numbers and shapes!
No doubt by the end of the month Christmas will have also crept in too!
At some point in November you will receive information on how to apply
for a school place for Sept 2026. This will be handed out as soon as it is
available. If your child attends another setting- you may well receive info
from them rather than through us.
Don’t forget that Addingham Primary are inviting you to see the school in
action! Dates are Tuesday 25 th November 9.30 and Wednesday 10 th
December at 1.30.
If neither of these days are suitable for you – you can get in touch with
the school for an alternative date and time. Phone 830298 or email
[email protected]
Sorry to keep asking but please ensure everything is labelled with your
child’s name. Permanent black marker pens are great to use. Thank you
We have sent a number of photos of children making/showing off their
clay hedgehogs to be used in a continuous slide show in The Hub during
November. I am not sure if all the photos will be used but- go on in and
take a look!
We are expecting shortly the sample cards which every child has made.
They will be handed out as soon as we receive them.
Hopefully you will love them. You can then place an order for more if you
wish to do so. We do get commission on sales.
As this year’s theme is “Challenge yourself” and therefore we are
challenging the children to come dressed up in their favourite outfit and I
am sure we can fund them lots of challenges to do during the day! If you
would like to donate- we suggest £1 -thank you
Pre School will be running Santa’s Grotto from the little wooden hut.
Please come along and visit him! £3 per child. All proceeds will be for
some new preschool small world toys.
Another lovely seasonal event to come along to! Pre School will be
running a preloved books, games and toy stall. If you have anything your
children have loved and ready to move on from- we would love to have
them please! They can be dropped off here at preschool anytime. (no
baby/toddler equipment please)
Thank you
Just to give you as much notice as possible- this is on our last day
before breaking up for Christmas and everyone is invited to the party
even if your child does not attend on a Thursday. We will open in the
morning at 8am as usual for our early starters ahead of the 8.45 for
many others and then we will run through until 11.30.
At 11.30 anyone else who doesn’t attend a Thursday morning is very
welcome to join us.
We will then have a party lunch and party games, ending with a visit
from Santa.
So… the day will finish for everyone at 1.30.
We hope this early finish isn’t to much of an inconvenience but we have
found this plan of action has worked really well in previous years.
There is no charge for the party which includes the lunch, party bag and
present from Santa.
If anyone is thinking of changing any hours your child attends- please let
me know. We have also spaces available if you know of anyone who
may be considering a place here - please tell them to get in touch!
Finally- the snack cupboard and fruit bowl will be a little empty after the
break- so if you out shopping this weekend- we would appreciate
anything please- fruit, crackers, breadsticks, malt loaf- anything like that.
Many thanks
I think that’s it for now! See you next week
