Holidays - French Day 1st July
As we are now in the holiday season- we will have a French day on Wednesday 1st July and we look forward to a French lesson from Madam Hatch (our very own member of staff Mrs Hatch) who will come to teach us some French! It would be great if the children could come dressed in some red/white/blue for the day!
Induction session in the Primary School for school starters - Wed 24th June
The children who are commencing at Addingham Primary in September have a Stay’n’Play session in school that afternoon. Any children who are here in preschool that afternoon – we can take them through to school and bring them back at the end. Alternatively- parents can accompany their children in there and whilst they play you will have the chance to chat over a cuppa in the library with any other parents who may be there too.
September pre-school new starters - Open Afternoon 8th June
We already have a list of children who will be starting with us in September- which is great. We still have spaces available! If you know of any parents who may be interested in commencing their child with us in September (or at some point in the future) and they haven’t contacted us already– please signpost them to us! We will be holding an Open Afternoon on Monday 8th June 1.30-3pm for anyone who would like to come and have a look around and have a chat to see how we can meet their childcare needs. Please spread the word! If possible- if they can get in touch before the event- we then have an idea of how many to expect. Thank you!

This is just for the children leaving us for school. It will be one group photo available to purchase- if you would like a copy. Any child who would not normally be with us on a Wednesday morning are very welcome to join us for the photo too. Please arrive at 8.50. We should’ve finished by 9:10. This will be a lovely community event. If you get the chance- please come along! Pre School will be running a small toy tombola. If you have any items you could kindly donate- please bring them into preschool. Thank you
Addingham Gala Parade - Saturday 11th July
Looking ahead to this fabulous annual community event which starts on the Friday evening 10th July and then again on the Saturday from noon. We will be taking part on the Saturday by joining the parade through the village. The theme this year is “Out of This World”. We have decided to “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and how cute
will we be! The parade will leave the top of the village at 12 noon and we parade through the village ending up on the football field at the back of the Mem Hall/park area. We would love as many of our children as possible to join us in the parade. They allmust be accompanied by a parent or another responsible adult. We request that adults dress up too in as much yellow and sparkle as possible! There will be lots more details nearer the time- but for now if you could let us know if it’s a yes/no /maybe and then we can start planning.
Think that’s it for now- see you next week!
