Nursery Funding and Fees

Our fees are:

£7.00 per hour

Fees are payable monthly in advance and invoices are sent out around the beginning of a month.

For children not using the Nursery Funding with us, the amount payable will depend on be the number of hours in that particular month your child is on register for.

For children who use part Nursery Funding and also pay for some sessions, an amount will be worked out for the fees payable for the whole term and  then requested in  equal monthly payments .

An invoice will still be sent out to parents even where all their child’s hours are covered with the Nursery Funding and therefore the invoice will show a Nil balance.

Fees are payable if time has been taken off during term time for holidays and  illness

You must reconfirm your eligibility when requested to do so, even if your employment circumstances haven’t changed. You must do this even though your child may have  not  started their 30 hr place. You must do this approx. 3 months from the date you applied to continue to receive the  hours. Log onto your childcare account to check your date for reconfirming. You will get a reminder email from HMRC to do this. The document below is information about how to do this.

Consumable charging

This is a voluntary payment requested for 3 & 4 year old Nursery funded sessions.  This voluntary charge is  because the level of hourly funding we receive from the government for funded places does not match what we would charge per hour. We are not allowed to charge parents the difference but we can request voluntary contributions.

For children in receipt of 2 year old funding, consumables do not apply because the level of funding received from the government is higher than 3 & 4 year olds

These consumable fees will cover items such as morning and afternoon snacks, a variety of different crafting supplies, baking and food related activities, resources for planting & growing, health & hygiene products as well as many resources which are purchased to enhance our settings weekly curriculum activities and basic equipment…… the list is endless.

The charge is £2 per session. A session being either a morning or afternoon. A full day session is 2 sessions – therefore £4,

The invoices will be worked out and emailed at the start of each month.

This is a voluntary contribution and all children will have the same access to our provision regardless of payment. Nevertheless we would very much appreciate your payment.
