Learning through play

Addingham is a rural village set within the Wharfe Valley, close to Ilkley and Skipton. Addingham Pre-School  was founded in the 1960’s. We operate from a lovely designated area within Addingham Primary School.

Our rooms are spacious, bright and colourful with lots of windows for natural light. We have a large general room, 2 further classrooms, our own cloakroom and toilets and a lovely, spacious, soft surfaced, partially covered outdoor play area.

Our motto is “Learning through Play”, following the Early Years Foundation Stage principles. We offer pre-school education and care for children from  2 years ahead of starting school, in preparation for their transition to school.

Our pre-school is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and is also registered charity. ( 1040515)

We are supported by Bradford Early  Years & Childcare Services and are OFSTED registered, adhering to standards and regulations set by each of them.

Our Ofsted registration number is EY416518 and we proudly received an overall “Good” with some outstanding areas in our last inspection January 2020.
